The following Emancipation Bill to as recorded 
the 25th June 1830.

 

Know all by these presents that Theodosia Morrison 
and Lewis F. Klepstein administrators of John Morrison 
late of Allegany County, Dec’  for and in consideration 
of the sum of three hundred dollars, to us in hand 
paid, the receipt whereof we do hereby acknowledge, 
have emancipated, released and liberated Harry Crawford, 
black man belonging to the estate of the (    ) 
John Morrison from Slavery and by these presents 
do emancipate, release and liberate him the (said) 
Harry Crawford a black man from us, our heirs, 
executors, or administration and from a ____  
every person whatsoever.  In _____ whereof we have 
hereunto set our hands and affixe our seals this 
twenty first day of June Eighteen hundred and thirty.
