Glenn, of the state and county aforesaid, and for and in consideration of the sum of $10 to me in hand paid by Otway Glenn, and for blood and natural affection which I bear him, have bargained, sold and conveyed, and by these presents do bargain, sell and convey unto the said Otway Glenn the following slaves, to wit: Abby, Ned, America, Lewis and Sandy, to have and to hold the said slaves and their future increase in trust for the sole use and benefit of my sister, Harriet Bedsill, during her natural life.
