Caver, Jr. Lecaverjr@aol.com State of Georgia, Hancock County Know all men by these presents that I, James Lewis, of the county and state aforesaid, as well as in the consideration of the sum of $5 to me paid by Peterson Thweatt, William Gilliland and John Mann, of said county, as in consideration that they have become jointly bound as my securities for the payment of $5,135 payable on the first day of June 1822, have granted, bargained and sold, and hereby do grant, bargain and sell to them, the said Peterson Thweatt, William Gilliland and John Mann all those two certain waggons and haress (sic) thereto appertaining and those four horses now forming a train to one of said waggons, also two slave men called Cuffy and Jack, and a boy Jerry, all now in Hancock.
