     I, Bird Pruitt, planter of the state and county aforesaid, have for and in consideration of the love, good will and affection I have for and do bear towards Thomas L. Loyd, Ann L. Loyd, John Loyd, Kerenkessoch Y. Loyd and Susannah G. Loyd, all my rights, title, interest and claim in the following property to wit: 11 slaves named John, Charles, Lydia, Amy, Esther, Little Lydia, Bob, Jerry, Mary, Adeline and Catherine; also all that lot or fractional section of land whereon they now live on, the west side of the Alabama River and known in the general map as number 17, Township 16, Range 13...
